Holiday Helping Hands at OP-CThe Holiday Season is upon us, and there are three ways you and your family can help
OP-C with seasonal service projects. Pick them all or participate in just one—the choice is yours! The first project the children stay after school on Thursday, December 12th to make holiday place mats for Senior Citizens (via Meals on Wheels). The second option purchase a new toy and deposit it in the “Toys for Tots” box in the school lobby. And the last help families at Oak Park-Carpenter by sending cash or check (payable to OP-C PTA with “holiday donation” in memo line) in an envelope to school marked “Attn: Service Committee.” A flier will be coming home explaining all of these options. Here is a link to the flier. Any questions please contact Kristin Kerrigan.
If you have taken any pictures around school activities (field trips, class room activities and/or Halloween Class Parties) Please send them to the yearbook committee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Birthday Book ClubThe Birthday Book Club is an opportunity for you to donate a new book to our school library in honor of your child’s birthday. Message from Ms Gill
The front doors to the school will be locked at 4pm every day. Access to the building is through the back door after 4pm for the late care or groups using the building after school hours. For example ball teams, scouts, PTA etc. You may park in the back parking lot and along the curb.
School/PTA sponsored events (music programs, grade level programs, family fun nights, etc) will continue to use the front door. The doors will be unlocked 30 minutes prior to the event. If you need access before that you will use the back door.
Thank you for your understanding safety as a priority at our school.
