Are smartphones, social media, and gaming harming our kids?  Jonathan Haidit's The Anxious Generation argues that a "great rewiring of childhood" has led to an epidemic of youth mental illness.  This event will explore the mechanisms behind this crisis and, most importantly, engage in a hopeful, action-oriented conversation for our school community.  Discover practical steps we can take, individually and collectively, to restore a healthier, freer childhood for the next generation.

There's no need to read the book beforehand!  We will watch a presentation by the author where he clearly and compellingly summarizes his book's findings and then break into discussion groups.  Doors open at 6:15 pm and presentation starts at 6:30 pm.  Space is limited to 150 participant.  (Adults Only)
