Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day

Description

Why We Walk:
On November 14, 1960, Ruby Bridges, a brave 6-year-old girl, became the first African American student to attend an all-white elementary school in the South. Her courage and strength helped pave the way for equality in education.

Let's walk together to honor Ruby Bridges and keep her legacy alive — one step at a time.

"Don’t follow the path. Go where there is no path and begin the trail." — Ruby Bridges
